Job description

The primary focus of a Telesales Representative is to sell solutions / services to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.

As a Telesales Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Responsible for understanding Oracle*s product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Works under general supervision. Seeks intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines. 3 years of relevant experience. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent.

Oracle University Inside Sales Representative – North America
Schedule: 3pm – 12am

The primary focus of a Inside Sales Representative is to sell solutions / services to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• As a Telesales Sales Representative you will sell OU products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned sales target.
• Develop account penetration strategies, qualify leads, generate sales and close business.
• Prospecting and direct contact through interactions (calls, e-mails, social media)
• Developing, extending and maintaining relationships with the appropriate departments within Oracle
• Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance.
• Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of establishing, developing and maintaining positive business, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle University products and services.
• Accurately forecasting revenues on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Outstanding negotiation & selling skills
• Strong active listening towards fast and accurate customer needs identification
• Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.
• Interpersonal skills, competitive driven to achieve the individual and the team's objectives and targets
• Ability to take fast decisions and to seek intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
