Job description

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Digital Product Manager

Work as part of the team driving go-to-market activities for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You'll manage content creation and publication for multiple web channels, using a content management system (CMS), ensuring quality and timely release of materials.

This role will work with content teams to create compelling web experiences for Oracle customers. You'll be responsible for publishing and maintaining content within our web properties, improving site design, and using data to inform continual improvement of customer experience.

This role requires collaboration with technical service owners and product managers, as well as external stakeholders including sales, and parallel business groups. You will also work closely with design and IT teams supporting our site.

The ideal candidate will be flexible and innovative, with the ability to keep a keen eye on details and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Passion for technology (cloud computing and cloud infrastructure) and teamwork are critical success factors.

Responsibilities

· Plan, design, and perform content enhancements and updates to Oracle Cloud websites.

· Collaborate with content producers, overseeing content placement and maintaining content quality bar, with timely release across web platforms.

· Develop guidance on content standards, provide thought leadership on process improvements, and ensures best practices and quality standards are met.

· Design and test page layouts for improved user experience and conversion.

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of Oracle Cloud websites, as well as contribute to the strategic roadmap.

· Provide design input and work with design and IT to develop new templates or components.

· Work with web development team to find solutions if content can't be published due to CMS limitations.

· Publish content to the staging server and provide QA before approving with key stakeholders.

· Work with Analytics Team to ensure appropriate page tagging.

Qualifications/Skills

·  3+ years of relevant professional experience
·  Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently as well as with cross-functional teams
·  Comfortable with HTML and CSS, and willingness to learn Oracle software systems
·  Experience designing web page flows for user conversion, and optimization
·  Experience interpreting web analytics, Adobe Omniture a plus
·  Prior experience developing and/or editing web copy
·  Experience working with web developers and IT teams
·  Working knowledge of SEO best practices
·  Working knowledge of A/B testing protocols
·  Strong communication skills and attention to detail
