Job description

Entry-level consulting position for those who are new to professional services and are developing their expertise. Receives detailed instruction on routine work and on new projects or assignments.

As a member of a project team, follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations/data and provide quality work products to deliver functional and technical solutions on applications and technology installations. Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying relevant Oracle methodologies and practices with limited autonomy. Implements Oracle products and technology in various industries to meet customer specifications.

0 to 2 years of experience relevant to a functional or technical role. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Demonstrates basic competence in one product or technology area. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Oracle Consulting North America Technology and Government – Global Service Delivery is the India based offshore delivery arm of Oracle Consulting North America. GSD consists of a group of experts to meet specific Oracle client projects and deliverables in support of Oracle's consulting efforts worldwide, including the Oracle consulting organization in the United States.

As a member of the Cloud Infrastructure competency of GSD, you will help Oracle customers in their journey to the Cloud. You will be part of a team which works on Oracle's industry leading Infrastructure and Platform Cloud.

We are currently looking for Cloud Infrastructure Engineers who fit the following job description:

·  1-2 years of experience on any cloud platform ( AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle)
·  Good hands-on experience on any Linux flavor
·  Working knowledge on scripting – Shell, Perl, Python
·  Experience administering any Linux flavor or Windows is a definite plus
·  Working knowledge on at least one Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc.
·  Working knowledge of Virtualization technologies like VMWare, Oracle VirtualBox and VM Archive formats such as QCOW2, OVA, VMDK etc.
·  Working knowledge of object storage and migration tools such as rclone, Cloudberry etc.

·  Experience migrating complex workloads to any cloud platform is a plus
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Good analytical and problem solving skills
