Job description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities:

·  Be part of development team, working on design, development and Support of software applications (ranging from simple to medium data-intensive applications)
·  Troubleshoot, support and contribute to defect-fixes of very high customer base oriented financial products.

Pre-Requisites:

Education: BE / MCA Graduates

Experience:

· 3 to 5 years

Primary skills (mandatory)

·  Programing Languages: Java, J2EE, and web-application development
·  Experience in developing applications based on: RESTFUL web-services, Servlets, JSP (HTML) & MVC Architecture, JQuery & Knockout JS
·  Must have experience in basic SQL like writing/debugging SQL queries, procedures
·  Should have experience in banking domain.

Secondary skills / knowledge (desirable)

·  Added advantage: Experience in developing applications on the Cloud
·  Added advantage: Experience in working on Dockers / Kubernetes

Special needs (egs. Travel frequency, working in shift, certifications, specific organizations worked in, etc…)

·  Strictly no travel. Job will be full-time. Work location is Global Axis, Whitefield.
