• To meet or exceed sales targets (market share/market share growth) within agreed budgets and timescales – through effective leadership of sales team. • To achieve agreed contact and coverage targets through face to face and meetings and manage delivery of customer centric activities with all primary and secondary care customers - within operating budget. • Manage operating expenses within agreed budgets through effective monitoring and reporting systems. Ensure that expenditure does not exceed agreed budgets. • To ensure effective management of sales team including training and personal development in terms of ongoing training, coaching and counselling through regular field visits and management of recruitment, performance, development and retention of representatives in the area through quality processes - working in conjunction and support from sales training and HR departments. • To ensure outstanding personal and team knowledge, and understanding of Novartis priority products, technical information, product strategy, positioning, key messages and programmes. • To implement with excellence the sales campaigns adhering to the sales policies and to the relevant Codes of Practice/regulations. • To ensure effective communication with NOTC Front Line Managers and sharing with them comprehensive feedback about customers to ensure alignment of sell in and sell out activities. • To ensure effective communication which reflects leadership, focus, direction and motivation of the sales team • Ensure smooth delivery of sales processes with Sales Management, Finance and store management of the distributer. • Monthly reporting of customer’s stocks of NOTC items, previous month sales performance and next month forecasting. • To provide monthly & quarterly forecast per SKU and customer in order to ensure availability of the goods as well as avoiding of stock fluctuation. • To align with BPA for any returns (Valid or Expired). • Accounts Receivables management through effective follow up and review with Sales team members. • Handling customers quarter agreements through annual planning and securing customer’s signature by mid of February and monthly review of the customer’s performance and quarter execution of the awarded benefits to the customer in line with the approved sales plan. • Stock management at end of distributer “TAMER” and ensure smooth movement of NOTC items from Novartis Store to TAMER stores to ensure availability of all items and ensure customer satis

Desired profile

Minimum requirements

• University degree in Pharmacy, Medical, Science, Commerce. Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken) • Proven, successful selling track record (Primary and Secondary Care) • Ability to manage teams. • Coaching experience, ideally in training department. • Marketing Sciences/product management experience would be beneficial but not essential
