Strategy & Business Planning Trainee
Mission and Main Objectives
Mission:
The Strategy & Business Planning Trainee will support Business & Strategy Performance Management Team.
Support S&BP Analyst in coordinating the Sales & Marketing business performance scorecard as part of the TQM process
Assist the S&BP Manager in developing the mid-term plan for Sales & Marketing (volume, financials & strategy) & Assist the S&BP Manager in coordinating the business plan for Sales & Marketing (volume, financials & presentations)
Support Sales &Marketing SVP by preparing presentations for key executives meetings
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
1) Support TQM (Total Quality of Management) process roll out and monthly performance monitoring:
- Collect for Headquarter (HQ) and Regional Business Units: monthly KPI performance scores,
- Report monthly SVP & VP scorecards. Report consecutive under-performing KPI to drive countermeasure under SVP guidance. +Follow up.
- Consolidate Regional Business Units scorecards for VPs highlighting recurring underperforming KPI
- Support the setting and roll out of Annual Objective Performance & Variable Compensation Scheme.
- Update the different databases
2) Support Mid Term Plan Development :
-Contribute to MidTermPlan consolidation activity (cross functional inputs + regular alignment on future product objectives validated in Executive forum)
-Generate & update MidTerm plan volume & financial scenario for Europe region
-Contribute to strategic presentation for Execs (Strategic Seminars…)
3) Support Business Plan coordination within S&M function:
-Deliver comparison business plan versus Mid Term Plan (Year 1) to understand key variances
-Prepare standard tools to support Regional Business Units engagement in BP process (input/output tools, reporting format)
-Contribute to BP presentations for executive decision forums
