Position Title
Service Parts Engineering and Quality Assurance Trainee
Mission and Main Objectives
Assignments in AS Engineering Support & Warranty Department, Service Parts Engineering & Quality Assurance Section
Aftersales Accessory/ Service Parts Quality Assurance Support
Aftersales Acc/SP Engineering QA main missions:
· During new parts development, perform quality validation at key milestones, validate product release and approve supplier delivery
· Solve problems of customer field complaints, improve supplier product quality and Quality Management System maturity
· Evaluate new supplier, includes quality documentation audit and production plant on-site audit
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Support all QA activities above for Nissan 2020 objectives achievement
Additional Tasks and responsibilities (include team management, if any)
Scope:
Nissan, Infiniti and Datsun Genuine Accessory and Service Parts
Aftersales Accessory/ Service Parts Quality Assurance - Activities:
· Perform quality validation at key milestones, validate product release and approve supplier delivery
· Valid key milestone during the part development to ensure each stake holder to respect the correct process
· Valid engineering development output, tests, vehicle fitment check and drive test results in order to approve Product Release
· Valid supplier mass production/ quality control process and approve for final delivery
· Solve problems of customer field complaints, improve supplier product quality and Quality Management System maturity
· Quickly grasp customer complaint details and liaise with Nissan engineer and/ or supplier for detailed root-cause analysis
· Manage the countermeasure deployment and evaluate the effectiveness
· Manage the recurrence prevention activity with engineering team and supplier for future project
· Manage Field Quality Improvement activity with key suppliers including:
· Monthly review meeting to follow field claim status
· Calculate and negotiate the warranty cost amount and charge back to suppliers according to liability ratio
· Build and follow regularly the action plan with suppliers to improve their Quality Management System maturity
· Evaluate new supplier, includes quality documentation audit and production plant on-site audit
· Perform documentation audit and/ or production plant on-site audit to evaluate new supplier
· Give new supplier quality evaluation feedback to Purchasing to assist new supplier selection

Background & Experience
· Engineering background, prefer Mechanical or Industrial
· Project management skills
· Keen to work in a Multicultural environment
· Good written and oral English skills is required
· Ability to work both independently & as part of a team
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Automotive engineering and quality management (ISO/TS16949) knowledge is an asset but not a must
