Posting Description

The IS Warranty/Aftersales Business Analyst works closely with application support, project team members, vendors, and business users to solve problems and deliver results.Analyst will work with the Warranty Continuous Improvement SCRUM team to help groom the backlog, remove impediments, and help deliver on a planned sprint interval.Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of business problems, working with support teams to deliver system solutions when needed.Partner with the business users to understand their processes and identify potential automation and areas of improvement.Ability to create power point presentations that effectively and concisely communicate given topics, such as continuous improvement progress and how we are partnering with our business users to drive value.A professional demeanor and spirit of collaboration is expected.Work closely with project managers and SCRUM masters to ensure continuous improvement efforts and other projects are kept on track.Must be flexible and possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities, engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, with a positive attitude.Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, convert abstract low-level information up to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.Effectively and consistently transform user solutioning into defining business needs and problem statements.Proactively seek recurring issues and process inefficiencies, develop options for long-term fixes, and present to management.Analytical and product management skills, including an understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements – end user to tech speak translation.Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people, tailoring your message appropriately for executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Bring potential solutions when reporting problems.Participate in SAP and Solution Manager configuration for a global solution.Some continental and overseas travel required.Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Decision Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, or Business Management2- 5 Years overall IS/IT experienceExcellent problem solving, analytical and conceptual thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiencesMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUMPreferred Skills:JIRASAPSolution ManagerAutomotive Industry OEM business process
