Software Development Engineer in Test

We are presently looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to contribute to our Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) projects in the Personalization Group. If you are a SDET with great attention to detail, if you love finding innovative solutions for hard problems, this is the right place for you! We are looking for engineers who can develop automated test and QA environments for the ACR-based products and participate in their end-to-end testing. We are a fast-paced team where the SDET works closely with developers and customers in an agile environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Collaborate with various teams to improve software testability and expand test automation
·  Work with teams to increase test coverage. Represent the customer, understand how they use the system and include the most relevant end-to-end user scenarios in validation plans and test automation
·  Design and execute tests during all stages of development cycles
·  Work with various development teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness of test automation
·  Work with customers and developers to identify and resolve bugs

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  B.S. in CS preferred, 6 years applicable industry experience required
·  3+ years of software development or equivalent test automation experience
·  Strong knowledge with hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries
·  Strong knowledge of scripting language Perl, Python and/or Ruby, and Linux/Unix shells
·  Strong problem solving skills
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Experience in agile methodologies and tools
·  Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects / initiatives and to manage priorities

Desired:

·  Experience in complex database technologies and SQL queries
·  Experience working with Jenkins
·  Experience working with highly complex bash scripts
·  Experience in data validation
·  Experience leading/mentoring others
·  Experience and good knowledge of QA test automation framework – Cucumber open source test framework
