Context
Decentralised Corporate department created with the incorporation of Nexans Services a subsidiary serving as a hub for cash pooling, the main interface of the Group in Money and Currency (FX and IR) Derivative markets, the sole source of borrowings and deposits and FX hedging of all centralised group subsidiaries
Areas of responsibility
- Support the European Treasury team in a wide range of treasury activities
- FX Risk Management
- Cash Forecasting,
- Cash Allocation
- Bank Guarantee Management,
- Group Reportings
- Payment Factory and FX Back Office operations
- Active participation in Global Treasury Projects management by Central Treasury
- Support the Finance Manager in Finance & Tax matters (Withholding Tax, Transfer Pricing, Bank Account Management)
Expected results
- This experience within the Group Treasury department of Nexans will allow the candidate to learn the full scope of activities taking place in a global treasury center, working with entities based from Canada till New Zealand.
Required skills and qualifications
- Personal skills: Global Team Player, Analytical Skills, a taste for operational excellence and taking responsibilities, quick in decision making and calculation. Ability to withstand stress. English and French essential. Good communicator.
- Education: Master in Finance. A specialisation in Corporate Finance or Treasury is a plus
- Experience: Working in a Central Treasury Centre of a Multinational Corporation or a sales officer in the dealing room of a Bank.
- Good knowledge of IT tools (SAP, KTP, HFM) plus Excel
