After all Brazilian plants and logistic centers transfer to Rio de Janeiro plant, production flow and logistics need to be improved to reduce lead time, inventory and increase OTIF.
As Supply Chain coordinator, you will work closely with production, logistics, planning and sales departments to:
- Implement a new product and information flow in the plant including visual management. You will organize workshops, implement actions with the teams and audit the system afterwards. You will experiment Value Stream Mapping, pull system, Kanban, FIFO, scheduling optimization, pacemaker principle, and other flow technics and principles, from Raw Materials to Finished Goods (including storage areas and logistic preparation).
- Define standards and update SAP database accordingly
- Prepare the system to business evolution and build a dashboard to monitor it
- Participate to the S&OP and MPS process and help improving the tools
- Act in the plant according to group safety standards
- Apply Lean Management principles.
Profile:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering with a specialization in production / supply chain
- Significant working experience, if possible in workflow management,
- SAP knowledge, especially in production monitoring
- English proficiency is mandatory
- Portuguese and/or Spanish would be a plus
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft collaborative tools
