Your Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and driven Shopper & Category Specialist to join our team based in Parnell. Reporting to the Category Manager for your products, you will be responsible for creating and delivering shopper activation plans that positively influences shoppers' in-store for some of our iconic brands. This will entail the development and implementation of premiums / gift with purchase offers, in store sampling and demonstrations, display and merchandising equipment and any other point of purchase visibility and communication materials. You will also support the Category Manager with category analysis, reporting, and delivery of key sales presentations and field tools.

About You
You will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of category and shopper insights including Nielsen/Aztec tools and be able to translate them into innovative activation plans that will motivate the shopper along the path to purchase. You need to be able to influence internal and external stakeholders, and it is crucial that you are able to demonstrate success managing your own budgets. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage. You will be an excellent team player full of energy and enthusiasm, who can foster relationships across all business levels to ensure maximum results.

With one eye on the detail and the other on the opportunities, you will possess well developed planning and analytical skills and the courage to back your instinct. The successful applicant will ideally have a degree in a marketing discipline combined with minimum 3 years marketing and category experience in an FMCG company, and will be able to demonstrate strong skills in creating engaging brand experiences.
