Job description

Main Purpose of the Role

The Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for an assigned territory to achieve volume target, distribution, visibility, and the coverage of all outlets. As a leader, the FSS will train, motivate and control the Sales Force Team and is responsible for maximizing team effectiveness, controlling and developing the territory.

Main Responsibilities

Building Organization Capacity:

Develop selling abilities of assigned resources (train, coach, evaluate and develop his team).

Schedule the appropriate amount of time to work with each individual within the team.

Emphasize on teamwork and spirit.

Follow up on daily / weekly basis corporate training.

Building the Business:

Achieve volume target for all products.

Develop outlets sales and increase of coverage and penetration.

Identify issues (problems or opportunities) that will effect sales volume and take action proactively in coordination with Management.

Make sure that all his team members are trained to use the Hand Held (where available) and provide them with support needed.

Work on a daily basis upload – download process for the Hand Held (where available).

Provide leadership and direction to the team.

Review journey plan on a monthly basis, stock levels and operational effectiveness of his Team in coordination with Management.

Achieve corporate merchandizing objectives and obtains maximum display support for all stores.

Coordinate correspondence and communication between his team and his management.

Provide regular report on competitors' activities, especially price changes and promotional support.

Assist in setting monthly target to his team in relation to the potential of each territory.

Comply with all company policies, instructions and directives.

To spend 90% of time in the field supported with field contact reports.

To develop conceptual selling presentations for his team and to train them on the use.

Monthly Trade Visit Evaluation of all staff with direct reports

Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes.

Comply with Nestlé's strictest requirements that Nestlé marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity.

Requirements to Apply

Education: Must be holding a Bachelor Degree in a Business related field.

Attitude: Clean and professional appearance / presentable, Excellent attitude / enthusiasm self-motivator, Able to self-express / communicate easily, Reliable trust worthy / dependable, Proactive, hands-on approach, Discipline and organized.

Knowledge: Physical and outlet-wise understanding of assigned territory / Product knowledge and arguments / Customer needs and buying pattern, Understand company strategies and objectives / Promotion plan and merchandising guidelines / Ability and potential of assigned sales team.

Skills: Good Communication Skills in Arabic and English / Training and coaching of assigned sales team / Selling skills / Initiative and follow through / Leadership / Thinking and problem solving.

Other: Minimum of 2 - 3 years working experience in Sales.
