Job description

Responsibilities

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated Senior Product Manager of Emerging Platforms to be part of a fun and dynamic team working on CNBC's portfolio of emerging digital products. As Podcasts, voice-first hardware (Amazon Echo, Google Home, Apple HomePod), and digital assistant platforms (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Siri) emerge and play a bigger role in our lives, CNBC aims to establish itself as a leader in the business and finance categories.

Our ideal candidate has worked as a product manager in digital media and has overseen voice and audio products, including Alexa Skills, Actions on Google and/or Podcasts. You will build from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your experience and market research. You must possess a blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This role has a strategic element but will require strong tactical implementation skills and perseverance.

·  Prepare and present strategic plans, recommendations, and product demonstrations to executives and stakeholders
·  Inspire and lead delivery of an agile team consisting of engineers, QA engineers, designers, and project managers
·  Collaborate with engineering, business development, marketing, editorial, finance, legal, and other internal stakeholder groups around initiatives
·  Manage and build partnerships with major tech platform providers, including Amazon, Apple, and Google, as it relates to product initiatives
·  Source and manage vendor relationships as required for product delivery and support
