Responsibilities

Role Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Global Brand Marketing partners closely with the Global Brand Marketing Director to develop a world-class product release and marketing strategy for the home entertainment release of Universal Pictures and Focus Features New Release titles.
In addition, the Assistant Manager plans and manages the execution of the North America product and marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the Global Marketing Teams, to achieve performance objectives across both Digital and Physical platforms.

Key Responsibilities Include:

·  Support the Director in the development of the Global Marketing Guidelines and distribute to all territories. Guidelines include: theatrical overview, Home Entertainment product details, positioning, consumer communication, and target audience.
·  Review theatrical performance (DBO, IBO, Exit Polls, Reviews, and Social Conversation) to refine and finalize the positioning and release strategy.Disseminate the North America strategic direction to the cross-functional Marketing teams (creative, publicity, digital marketing, customer marketing, promotions, digital distribution marketing).
·  Create strategic media briefs and CWOs to guide the development of global marketing assets for global physical and domestic digital platforms.Include legal, talent and filmmaker approval guidelines to all stakeholders.
·  Recommend North American physical and digital release dates and windowing guidelines.Assess risks and opportunities including competitive landscape, theatrical and Home Entertainment comps, historical franchise performance, seasonality, and regression. Coordinate with the territories and HQ to address any exceptions.
·  Develop the North American P&L and communicate approved budgets to cross-functional Marketing Teams.Ensure spends stay within budget.
·  Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Digital Distribution teams to manage North America digital marketing campaigns.
·  Work with the territories to collect and analyze key post-release insights (what worked/didn't work) to guide future release strategies.
·  Continuously support and share best practices globally.

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience – MBA preferred

·  Minimum 1-3 years of consumer marketing experience with a demonstrated ability to proactively lead initiatives to make a positive difference at a consumer-centric organization.
