Job Description :

In a context of exponential growth and international expansion in the coming years, we are looking to hire our first CFO.

Based in Paris from our offices in the 17th arrondissement, you will be in charge of all finance-related topics whilst being a business partner to the co-founders Hugo and Axel, as well as the rest of the leadership team.



What you will be doing



1. Manage MoovOne’s finances


• you and your team manage financial planning, financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting

• you work to improve all processes: client administration, purchasing, payments, personnel administration, tax,…the list is long!

• you implement new tools and processes to optimise our financial and administrative management (bringing accounting in-house, invoicing, ERP, HRIS,…)



2. Perform risk management and ensure regulatory compliance


• you analyse the organisation’s liabilities and investments, taking into account cash and liquidity risks

• you ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

• you manage the opening of subsidiaries abroad and set up local financial processes

• you manage and optimise our fiscal policy



3. Provide strategic recommendations to drive optimal growth


• you support decision-making on investment strategies in line with our strategy

• you guide and assist on all fundraising plans and capital structure decisions



4. Lead our Finance team


• you will develop the Finance team by setting clear objectives and enabling them to grow

• you will contribute and role model MoovOne’s culture as part our leadership team



MoovOne’s current financial team + stack


• Alix (Administrative & Financial Manager), Céleste (Administrative & Financial intern), and an external partner who managers customer/supplier invoices

• accounting & payroll: external chartered accountant

• reporting: monthly reporting in Excel

• CRM and invoicing: SalesForce for CRM and our accountant’s tool for invoicing

• other: Mooncard for expenses, YouSign, TransferWise for international transfers

Desired profile

Required profile:

• you have 8+ years of experience in finance roles, with a track record of managing financial planning cycles, audits, risk and regulatory compliance
• you have already worked in a startup or a small enterprise environment, where you were close to the leadership team: we need you to be hands-on and ready to build everything from scratch
• you have worked in an international context as you will contribute to opening and managing entities outside of France
• you have strong business acumen, we are looking for a business partner
• you have in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices, and an excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• you speak French & English fluently



some nice-to-haves:

• you have a solid grasp on legal matters (e.g. to advise our CEO on commercial contracts)
• you have already supported fundraising rounds and due-diligence processes
• you have already worked on subjects such as M&A, governance and pricing optimisation
