Surface has, in a few years, grown from a single product to a complete portfolio of products available in the Nordic market and is one of the key products in our customers and partners transformation to a modern workplace.

As the Surface Business Operations and Accessories Product Marketing Manager you will be working with a broad set of colleagues and partners in a fast-paced environment with high expectations – requiring a high impact, creative and energetic individual with exceptional collaboration skills.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure strong hardware business execution in the Nordics. This includes: ensuring supply availability, managing local market inventory, landing local pricing and ensuring customer service / support issues are handled in a timely manner by their owners in CSS and MSC. This responsibility spans Surface product line.

The secondary objective of this role is to drive attachment and incremental sales of accessories to the   Surface products, including but not limited to: type covers, docking stations, pens, adapters, and power accessories.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

1.Responsible for supply to meet needs for the Surface product line in the Nordics

a.Driving End to End Supply within our channel across all partner, but mainly our 3 disti’s and strong engagement with distributor-network in the markets.

b.Continuously monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient inventory

c.Coordinate with supply chain and distis to optimize inventory levels across product lifecycle, including driving the right supply allocation at launch and managing end-of-life

d.Managing Nordic Demand-plans for 4 countries based on sales- and RR input

i.Ensuring long order books as well as Launch and EOL practicalities around supply, delivery and timelines.

ii.Sync across Nordics on bigger deals, and potential upside requests flowing from that.

2.Forecast local market demand for Surface product line in Commercial

a.Collect input, sales data and pipeline from commercial sales team, channel partners, and distributor team on a continuous basis to ensure up-to-date visibility of product needs

b.Participate in regular business planning cadence with local operations teams

c.Input to finance teams on supply for Sell In numbers or impact of Surface supply on total subsidiary.

3.Own Surface Accessories Performance in Commercial

a.Focus on accessory attach analysis, improved and better partner reporting on accessories. Creating an uplift and extra $ into the 4 subsidiaries.

b.Work with other stakeholders to develop and execute the plan

c.Exceed units, revenue, and attach goals for Surface accessories to ensure to hit our target of Surface and Surface Hub

Accountabilities:

You will be on point for sales and business operations execution in the Nordics for the whole Surface business. You will build strong partnerships with the Surface teams in the Nordics. You will be ahead of the business, planning in advance to ensure products are available at launch, orders can be filled as they are made, and that problems are solved quickly by their owners. You will drive a robust process across the Surface business and serve as the primary interface into the existing S&OP process for Devices and accessories

Your key deliverables will include: a weekly local demand forecast by Surface product line, reporting and management of local inventory, operation and supply plan for products covering launch until end-of-life, ad hoc support to ensure strong execution in the business, and landing and managing local pricing and cross channel offers for Surface product line. On the marketing side you will focus on annual marketing execution plan for Accessories, launch plans for Accessories, internal and partner readiness plan for Accessories

Who are we looking for an individual with:

•University degree preferred

•3-5 years of relevant work experience

•Proven track record from achieving strong results with high impact and strong business acumen

•Strong communication, influencing & collaboration skills including experience in working effectively in a global context

•Experience in supply and demand operations

•And last but not least – Customer Obsession (Focus on delivering a great customer experience)

•Swedish language is a requirement
