Job Title: Senior Collaboration Engineers

Job Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Collaboration Engineer will perform hands-on tasks to manage and maintain Office 365 tenants and related technologies.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·  Collaborate with team members, management and other IT teams, along with business liaisons, decision-makers and stakeholders, to provide effective and efficient solutions to their requirements, goals or issues;
·  Collaborate with team members and other IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of systems to fulfill business objectives and processes;
·  Work with team members on the design and review of new systems, configurations, applications and tooling to develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency, reliability and performance of Collaboration related systems;
·  Interface with technology vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues;
·  Provide direct support to operational IT teams as it directly relates to Collaboration systems;
·  Support other IT teams with issues related to the connected mail systems such as messaging gateways, Data Loss Protection systems, anti-phishing, anti-spam etc.;
·  Create and maintain documentation providing in-depth knowledge as it relates to system configuration, information flow and processes of the existing IT architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio;
·  Document changes to systems using change management best practices;
·  Conduct research on emerging technologies, services, protocols, and standards in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will improve cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility; and
·  Assist and manage the migration of large volumes of data in support of cloud migrations, integrations and separations.

 

Job Requirements:

 

The Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field and at least six (6) years of progressively more responsible work experience administering Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and mobile device management technologies or similar messaging administration systems.

 

In addition, the Employer requires the following:

 

·  Demonstrated ability designing, installing, migrating, upgrading, troubleshooting, and administering messaging systems gained through six (6) years of work experience;
·  Demonstrated ability designing and implementing Hybrid migrations to Exchange Online from environments that contain multiple Active Directory Forest environments and multiple Exchange organizations gained through three (3) years of work experience;
·  Demonstrated ability managing Security and Compliance in Office 365 gained through three (3) years of work experience;
·  Demonstrated knowledge of firewall requirements, gateway, and mail relay configuration gained through three (3) years of work experience;
·  Demonstrated knowledge of Advanced PowerShell and management of Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises gained through three (3) years of work experience; and
·  Demonstrated ability to create PowerShell scripts and scheduling gained through three (3) years of work experience.

 

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

 

Telecommuting is an option as long as the Employee is based in the Bedford, Massachusetts region, as the Employee must conduct regular visits to company offices in the Bedford, Massachusetts region.
