Your role: 

As a Quality Engineer in Pilot Operations in the Biotools area, you are responsible for providing Quality Engineering support for new R&D projects from Concept to Production following the Product Development Process.  You are an active team member who contributes to the development of new concepts, processes, and products. You will draft and execute validation protocols and reports for line extensions, product transfers and new product introductions into the Cork site. You will determine and develop test requirements and product specifications in conjunction with the project team.  You ensure new processes and line extensions meet all Quality and regulatory requirements per PDP procedures.  You will support Pilot production, process optimization, scale-up production and handover to production.  There will also be other additional duties as required.

 

The position is located in Carrigtwohill Co Cork, Ireland

 

Who you are:

·  You have a Level 8 degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline
·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality/validation engineering, product/process development experience being a distinct advantage
·  Self-starter and independent critical thinker, with the aptitude to work autonomously and within a team 
·  Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
·  Demonstrated use of Quality tools/methodologies.
