Master Scheduler, Manufacturing
Your Role:
This senior planning position is responsible for developing, adjusting, and maintaining the Master Plan for the all Material at our expanding Sheboygan Falls site.
In addition this position is responsible for ensuring the material is available to our packaging area and works with the operational team to guarantee our fill rate objectives are met for our domestic and global customers.
· Leadership ability in process imporvement techniques to reduce costs, improve service levels or increase capacity a plus.
· Maintain and monitor the Planning and Scheduling of your area in SAP and related planning system to ensure schedules are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives.
· Work closely with Sales and Marketing and other production/ purchasing planners to ensure your responsible materials and Customer Forecasts and Demand Information are correct in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP MRP.
· Support all related functions including collaborative divisional S&OP for Site (QC, Packaging, and Operations with throughput, efficiency and quality issues).
Physical Attributes:
· Regularly uses phones, computers, computer monitors and all office/laboratory equipment.
· Typing at a computer keyboard along with the ability to read CRTs/computer monitors.
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in a business or technical field required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 3+ years planning/supply chain management or scheduling functions using an MRP and/or ERP systems preferred. Documented leadership ability in process improvement techniques to reduce costs, improve service levels or increase capacity a plus.
· Maintain and monitor the Planning and Scheduling of your area in SAP and related planning system to ensure schedules are optimized to achieve corporate business objectives.
· Work closely with Sales and Marketing and other production/ purchasing planners to ensure your responsible materials and Customer Forecasts and Demand Information are correct in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and SAP MRP.
· Lead collaboration with all operational functions including but not limited to QC, Packaging, Operations and quality issues to meet corporate objectives.
· Lead process improvement and large cross functional projects initiatives to increase productivity, eliminate waste, and streamline processes in production and spread the learnings.
