We are seeking a Business Analyst to join EMD Digital, Inc., an affiliate of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. As an industry leading science & technology company, we seek to solve the most challengingproblems facing scientists today. Ourteam is working at the intersection of digital and science to develop a portfolio of digital products with the aim of speeding up the scientific process from discovery through commercialization.

 

 

 

Your Role: As part of the Commercial team, you will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations and will be responsible for enabling the organization to make effective and strategic decisions about future actions from a market research and competitive intelligence perspective.Monitor and analyze market, industry, competitor, consumer and other relevant data sources to identify patterns, trends and translate into actionable insights.Identify and recommend high potential customers and market segments via application of trend analysis, analytic tools and techniques to drive opportunities and sales.Support the development, design and facilitation of Quarterly Business Reviews by providing market, customer and competitive intelligence information. Create scenarios and develop forecasts models for or the development of corporate strategies and to influence sales and marketing strategies. Play an active role in supporting the company's strategic planning processes .

 

 

Who you are: minimum requirements; Bachelor’s Degree, at least 5 plus years of related work experience. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.Experience in data visualization design, tools and techniques. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Highly self-motivated and experienced in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong customer service orientation. Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative global environment. Work with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix environment. 10% International Travel.

 

Preferred requirements;Bachelor’s Degree, at least 5 plus years of related work experience. Preferred degree in the field ofBusiness Administration, Business Analytics or related field. Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.Experience in data visualization design, tools and techniques. Work with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix environment.Understanding of biopharma/device clinical development processes andExperience in Life Science, Pharma or Biopharmaceutical industry preferred.

10% International Travel.
