Associate Product Manager

About the role:

Assoc. Product Manager (Bio4C™ Software–)will handle the product marketing activites for new software launches for BioContinuum™ Platform . 

As Associate Product Manager, you will manage and support the product management and marketing activities for software and automation products.

You will interact on a daily basis and develop strong relationships with Product Management, Supply Chain, Tax and Finance, Sales and IT as well as give those departments a clear and actionable input based on pre-defined commitments and processes.

  Responsibilities:

 You will be responsible for:

·  Defining and executing a software product specific marketing plan aligned to the organizations marketing execution plans.
·  Developing and updating product roadmaps in line with product plans.
·  Tracking and fulfilling on product marketing launch milestones through out the year.
·  Aligning to the marketing operational processes and ensuring timely process commitments are met. 
·  Announcement of deliverables and due dates. Tracking on deliverables with responsible stakeholders.
·  Training relevant teams and product managers on best practices/templates as needed
·  Manage unplanned process changes in process step
·  Preparation and timely delivery of consolidated report out on process milestones, deliverables and commitments.
·  Supporting Product Launches and working with marketing support teams for setup activities.
·  Supporting post launch tasks on pricing setup, tax setup, legal setup as per the organizational processes and templates.
·  Supporting in the product financial tracking and reporting.
·  Manage development and implementation of process improvements.
·  Manage and ensure alignment with business partners on process deliverables and tasks.
·  Working with the IT and other marketing support groups to ensure all the relevant tools (ERP, SFDC etc.) are used per the stated guidelines.
·    5% travel - including international

 

 

Who you are:

  Education and experience:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or Business;
·  3-5 years’ experience in an product management and marketing role such as product management, marketing communications, marketing operations and product setup is strongly preferred

 

Competencies:

·  Should have good knowledge of Organizational Process around product management, Legal, Finance and Taxes operations, Supply chain activities
·  Strong project management skills
·  Strong experience in analytical / excel based modeling
·  Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services.
·  Is recognized as an expert within the discipline and beyond.
·  Serves as best practice resource within product manager discipline
·  Has in-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
·  Strong strategic abilities coupled with good analytical, process and problem solving skills
·  Outstanding verbal, written communication and presentation skills; able to communicate in a concise, engaging and convincing manner.
·  Customer focused and effective customer advocacy
·  Deep expertise in marketing, product commercialization and development
·  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in diverse, multicultural cross-functional teams
·  Influencing skills  - ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
·  Capability to multitask and deliver timely results in a fast paced environment
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a MUST (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point)
