The Medtronic organization in the Netherlands exists out of 1400 enthusiastic professionals. The European Operating Center located in Heerlen houses a team of about 500 professionals in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Value Added Services & Logistics, Customer Care, Transport and Master Data Governance. From one the largest Medtronic distribution centers outside US located in Heerlen and other European distribution centers we serve our customers in over 120+ countries in Europe, Central & Eastern Europe and Middle East & Africa. Next to that the DC in Heerlen acts as a Center of Excellence in our worldwide Supply network.

“The Trade Compliance analyst is part of a team responsible for supporting and controlling the European Trade Compliance activities at Medtronic. The position supports the organization at both a tactical and operational level. This Trade Compliance Analyst is responsible for assisting management in ensuring compliance with applicable company policies and local regulations while ensuring the expeditious flow of international trade. This person will serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries and audits. Being a team player while having capabilities to lead projects is a key requirement to be successful in this position.

As part of the day-2-day work, the Trade Compliance Analyst focusses on ensuring import and export compliance policies and ensures procedures are followed by the operational teams. Conducting compliance reviews, monitoring import and export activities, conducting data analyses and working in conjunction with our trade and service providers are part of the job content. Working on this, the goal should be to identify and correct compliance gaps and incorporate internal controls to drive/implement best practices.”
