As a sales supervisor you will be in charge of managing the achievement of unit and revenue goals of the business in Maghreb Countries and assisting the Region in achieving overall revenue and market development objectives. You will be also responsible for gaining/increasing market share in that business by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic’s products and services within the region.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
·  Develop and implement strategies to achieve short and long term business targets and objectives.
·  Utilize sales calls, field visits and individual or group meetings and telephone contacts to:
·  Educate and develop distributors and/or their employees [or Medtronic employees] in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goal pursuits;
·  Coordinate and implement sales and service efforts;
·  Communicate corporate, geography and regional/area mission, goals and activities;
·  Direct and motivate distributors and/or their sales force [or Medtronic employees] to achieve unit and revenue goals;
·  Provide ongoing feedback/coaching [and regularly scheduled performance reviews – where appropriate]. Implement corrective actions where necessary.
·  Provide 24-hour regional/area coverage (including holidays, weekends and evenings)
·  If appropriate, assist distributors to recruit and interview candidates to maintain a strong team and potential bank of resources
·  Provide overall management of geographic/regional/area assets including:
·  Developing and managing budgets and forecasts;
·  Ensuring efficient, effective use training & Education budget and marketing expenses;
·  Negotiating and resolving price and contract issues with distributors [Sales Reps,] and accounts, under guidance from the geographical Sales Manager.
·  Coordinate efforts with Sales Managers of other product lines to diversify and maximize overall Medtronic teamwork results. Provide feedback of marketing intelligence to sales and marketing management business unit.
·  Develop ethical, long-term customer relationships and represent Medtronic management to customers – including the training and education of both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business
·  Assist the Sales Manager with planning and forecasting/reporting and business strategy support, as required.
·  Establishing and assuring excellent business relations with the health care professionals (HCPs) and authorized distributors in the area/region.
·  Achieve & exceed the targets for his/her area/region on: HCPs Satisfaction, Promotions of new/focus products/procedures, improve profitability.
·  Preparing and submitting regular sales activity, sales and forecast reports to Franchise Manager.
·  HCPs activities and training arrangements, coordination and follow-up; in the area/region.

Desired profile

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / JOB EXPERIENCE
·  First level degree (BA/BS) in life science, business or field related to Job.
·  Three to five years proven selling experience in a multinational setting
·  Relevant professional experience
·  Good presentation and communication skills
·  Willingness to travel approximately 50-70% of the time
