MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Guiding distributors as well as managing the markets, to make sure that all sales channels are fully used whilst Medtronic resources are employed in the most efficient way by managing the area team, to guarantee reaching full market potential.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Focusing on new business growth in hernia and soft tissue repair procedures.
·  Drive procedural conversions with targeted customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) through field travel, meeting attendance, educational seminars, and OR case observations.
·  Manage all aspects of hernia and soft tissue repair business.
·  Drive revenue to increase hernia and soft tissue repair business achieving necessary budget targets.
·  Develop and support clinical relationships.
·  Develop procedural knowledge and expertise on hernia and soft tissue repair procedures.
·  Develop local market strategy to increase hernia and soft tissue repair market share and create a business plan to execute on the strategy.
·  Establishing and assuring excellent business relations with the health care professionals (HCPs) and authorized distributors in the area/region.
·  Visiting HCPs in frequent basis to maintain good relation live.
·  Gaining confidence and respect of the HCPs in the name of Medtronic Company.
·  Coordinating and initiating company resources to produce ideal solutions to meet HCPs needs.
·  Controlling all kinds of promotional activities in the region in coordination MEA Marketing responsible.
·  Achieve & exceed the targets for his/her area/region on: HCPs Satisfaction, Promotions of new/focus products/procedures, improve profitability.
·  Preparing and submitting regular sales activity, sales and forecast reports to Sales manager.
·  HCPs activities and training arrangements, coordination and follow-up; in the area/region.
·  Conducting the authorized distributor(s) in the area/region for the sales and marketing activities and for HCPs visits.
·  Coach and mentor the area team and make an immediate impact in this sales organization.
·  Implement, follow up and succeed MEA Marketing Strategies by close co-operation & regular direct communication with MEA Marketing Function.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

 

Education

·  A university degree in Medical, Natural Science, Health Science, Further qualified degrees will be an asset.
