Inter-Company Accountant

ROLE OVERVIEW

The IDCM (Intercompany Credit Debit memo) team is responsible for the timely processing of all IC non-inventory transactions

Main purpose of the role is to:

•Ensure Intercompany Recharge Requests are accurately and timely processed.
•Be an active member of FSSC IDCM Team, involved in solving intercompany inquiries.
•Continuously challenge the processes, with focus on quality, control and efficiency of work.

MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

•Create invoices and cross charge all approved IRF’s (Intercompany request forms)
•Align IDCM recharges with PtP framework
•Process IC recurring allocations
•Monitor the unbilled account and ensure timely follow up on open items
•Timely resolve question relating IDCM’s and reconciliations
•Reconcile total IC AP and AR.
•Reconcile and take appropriate action to resolve and avoid Intercompany out of balances (OOB)
•Reconcile Intercompany P&L Accounts
•Ensure adequate filing of accounting and other documentation.
•Provide assistance / support to other Team Members, FSSC Management Team and auditors.
•Support the overall goals of FSSC and suggest process improvements.
•Ensure adherence to Medtronic Policies & Procedures.
•Partner with VAT on compliance of IC invoices
•Provides solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
•Participate in integration of new entities

Desired profile

Candidate Profile

Essential 

• Degree in Finance/ Accounting / OR equiavalent work experience.
•Written and spoken English
•2-4 years basic accounting experience
•Working knowledge of at least one accounting or ERP system

Desirable

•Experience in a shared services center
•SAP experience
