Supply Excellence/CI Technician

The Role

Here at Mars Wrigley, we have a great opportunity for a Supply Excellence/CI Technician to join our Team at our Ballarat site in VIC. Reporting into the Value Stream Manager, you will essentially be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the factory, driving all our operational data on a daily and weekly basis. As a key member in the Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) structure, this role is also integral in the planning and roll out of improvement initiatives on the site to improve our operational efficiency.

What are we looking for?

·  Degree Qualification in Engineering and/or prior experience working within a Continuous improvement role;
·  Experience working within a food/beverage/FMCG environment preferred but not essential;
·  Demonstrated success in implementing impactful change;
·  Prior experience in Lean, TPM, CI tools and techniques;
·  Analytical experience collating and interpreting data and spreadsheets.

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  Heavy focus on data analysis and reporting on all operational data;
·  Support the integration of Global MSE into the site strategy;
·  Support and lead Continuous improvement (CI) activities in the Value Stream and Contribute to the supply technical capability journey through deployment of appropriate training, tools, and systems;
·  Plan & drive roadmaps, including MSE implementation, for improving the business performance of the Value stream;
·  Identify and lead initiatives to deliver savings through the application of TPM, Lean or CI.
