Supply Accountant - Manufacturing

A great opportunity has arisen for a Supply Accountant - Manufacturing, to join the Mars Wrigley (MW) Supply Finance team based at our confectionary factory in Ballarat.

The role is responsible for recording, analysis, reporting and forecasting of the Ballarat manufacturing and production conversion costs and related financial line items. You will also partner key budget holders within the Ballarat factory to derive insights, lead recommendations and accountability to deliver the value creation targets for the site.

Other key responsibilities:
• Period close accounting and journals, Period close reporting and analysis vs. budget / forecast / prior year
• Provide financial advice on a range of projects and activities around capital deployment, product trials, activities and other internal strategic projects as necessary

What you will bring to the role:
• Demonstrated accounting experience with sound finance skills
• Degree qualified with professional qualification in accounting or Finance advantageous – CA/CPA equivalent
• A drive for results with a willingness to learn and develop
• An ability to draw insights from data and provide recommendations to key stakeholders
