Purpose of Role:

The Sr. Site Project Engineer is responsible for the design and installation of projects. The Sr. Site Project Engineer is a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s). The Sr. Site Project Engineer is responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.

This is accomplished by:

·  Using the adopted project management techniques to manage projects

·  Creating and managing project scopes

·  Determining the correct technical information required for project design

Principal Accountabilities:

ASSOCIATE:

BUSINESS:

·  Ensure delivery of assigned objectives for scope, time, budget, and cash flow
·  Ensure priorities are aligned with overall project priorities
·  Communicate with the project manager, project sponsors, and customers to ensure project objectives are achieved
·  Seek and apply appropriate technology to gain and sustain a technical competitive advantage
·  Support initiatives that shorten new product and project cycle times
·  Seek and support lean ways of working and apply lean principles in the engineering process and as a project deliverable
·  Understand and make decisions to improve business measurements such as ROTA, FATR etc.

FUNCTIONAL:

·  Key member and contributor of the CVS Team
·  Actively participate in the development of engineering standards and tools

·  Define costs and installation schedules for assigned projects
·  Recommend scope changes to projects, where necessary

·  Technical feasibility and proof of principal
·  Project design details and implementation plans

Minimum Requirements:

·  High school diploma required
·  Five (5)+ years of experience in a comparable technical position – food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry preferred
·  Basic understanding of engineering principles – knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction, and Computer Services
·  Proven ability to work in a team environment and on high performing teams
·  Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills
·  Strong critical/innovative thinking skills
·  Ability to work cross functionally and collaboratively with other groups
·  Ability to travel about 10-20% of the time depending on project demands and regional meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred
·  Previous experience with Capital Projects and/or Engineering Project Management
·  Ten (10)+ years of experience in a comparable technical position – food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related industry preferred
