·  To maintain production line operation by overseeing the major cassette handling areas: Conveyors, Loading, Layer Forming, Full Cube Handling, and Empty Cube Handling to ensure the timely and proper sequence of each operation.
·  Resolves production process problems by detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting problems; making equipment adjustments; removing and replacing defective cassettes and bottom plates, reporting production data; notifying area manager of decisions made, process or product anomalies; and additional resource requirements.
·  Assists Maintenance by writing work orders, communicating problem trends or patterns, helping with equipment set up adjustments and equipment changeovers.
·  Maintains quality standards by regularly inspecting product, conveying lines, and equipment and communicating any defective quality issues.
·  Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all appropriate procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
·  Helps prepare others for production responsibilities by demonstrating operational and safety procedures.
·  Maintains continuity among work teams by communicating actions, irregularities, continuing needs, and recommending workplace improvements
·  Supports the productivity and effectiveness of temporary workforce assigned to the cassette area. Maintain open and continuous communication with temporary workforce Lead associates, Area Manager; training temporary associates on specific area duties and safety; monitoring temporary associate performance; communicating any performance or interpersonal issues or concerns to Lead and Area Manager.
·  Perform PM’s on equipment periodically on Down Days, Clean Ups, and Shutdowns. Routine PM’s include visual inspection of all belts and machinery, replace worn suction cups, and minor greasing
·  Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
·  Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot and cold, dust, dirt and chemicals.
·  Every associate at Mars has responsibility for the achievement for quality and food safety.
·  Able to complete all tasks in the area assigned by manager abiding by the Mars Safety and Quality Practices.

Mission Critical Competencies:

·  To have a complete basic understanding of the area machinery and able to troubleshoot common problems without the help of Maintenance.
·  To have thorough communications skills.
·  Have an eye for details to be able to notice subtle equipment damage or the need for fine adjustments.
·  Being punctual and thorough when performing the quality checks.
·  To completely understand the effect this area has on the fillers and packaging.
·  Able to complete all tasks in the area abiding by the Mars Safety Practices.
