This position is a 12 month contract role

Sales Business Performance Analyst

The Sales Business performance analyst is accountable for reporting & analysis to support the sales team in optimizing sales performance, forecasting and budgets. This role will provide support to the account team and have interaction cross functionally to drive action against KPI’s. The business analyst will play a key role in preparing the account team for joint business planning and other customer meetings and interactions.

What are we looking for?

·  University degree or college diploma in related field
·  1-3 years of industry experience in a sales or analyst environment
·  Preferably advanced Excel skills
·  Intermediate PowerPoint skills
·  Customer POS and loyalty data management
·  Preferably SQL knowledge

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  Sales trends, category trends, competitive trends, price and promotion effectiveness
·  Consumer promotion and loyalty point effectiveness
·  SFA insight on baseline and promotion, score carding and KPI evaluation in preparation for customer meetings and internal updates
·  Seasonal sell through monitoring & reporting, inventory reporting and evaluation
·  Short and long term forecasting evaluation
·  Maintenance and reconciliation of trade spend planner, processing and reconciliation of trade deductions and post audits
