Sales BI Analyst – Newark, NJ

Support and maintains the integrity and accuracy of the Sales Reporting systems. Validates data and resolves issues by working with various functional areas in National Office, Field Sales, and Mars IS. Responsible for ongoing maintenance projects along with participation in development projects. Create reports to enable effective business analysis of data for sales teams.

What are we looking for?

·  Undergraduate degree with 1 year experience in CPG industry
·  The ability to travel up to 5%
·  Experience with analytics and reporting
·  Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
·  Successful completion of drug screen and background check
·  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·  Skilled at presenting data in a factual and concise manner across many levels of the organization
·  Ability to gather stakeholder requirements
·  Detail-oriented with a proven ability to handle and interpret large quantities of data and determine validity of results.
·  Ability to work with minimal guidance and effectively complete regular assignments while coping with frequent interruptions.
·  Ability to develop and execute training material as well as documenting role responsibilities

Nice to Have:

·  Bachelors degree
·  2+ Years of Analyst and/or Business Intelligence, Sales Operations experience
·  Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx

What would be your key responsibilities?

·  Support associates of Sales, S&F, Demand Planning, and Supply Logistics to assist them in developing their own ad-hoc reports or direct them to pre-canned reports that are available.
·  Interpret and clearly define end user reporting requirements for complex reports. Determine the most efficient manner of retrieving the data from the available company applications.
·  Develop and coordinate training pertaining to the introduction and implementation of changes to existing reporting environments.
·  Validate data and take a proactive approach to resolving data issues by working with different functional areas. Provide input to improve processes and applications to alleviate ongoing data problems.
·  Support software and hardware upgrades by participating/conducting UAT, managing pilot teams, communicating results and collaborating with Mars IS/Site Tech Support.
·  Grow and maintain technical skills on appropriate software applications (for example Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, Excel, SAP/BeX) that will provide support to client groups.
·  Create and maintain documentation associated with key functions of this role.
