Role: Process and Packaging Development Manager

Salary & Benefits: £78,720- 98,400 (Dependant on experience) plus bonus and excellent benefits

And that’s where you come in! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process and Packaging Development Manager based in our regional innovation centre in Leeds, UK. Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible for the co-development and implementation of the Dry/Care & Treats R&D strategy as a member of the Dry/Care & Treats R&D Leadership team.

•Responsible for delivering the process/packaging development and implementation pillars of the Dry/Care & Treats R&D programme, including relevant elements of the regional innovation pipeline, efficiency/COGS programme, product quality and performance programme, and expertise development.

•Responsible for ensuring all PNE Dry/Care & Treats processes and packaging meet defined targets in terms of quality, performance, production efficiency and cost (across all brands, factories and co-manufacturers)

•Responsible for cultivating cross-functional collaboration to ensure the PNE Dry/Care & Treats process and packaging development and implementation programme is fully aligned with business needs, and those of other functions (e.g. Supply, Marketing, Commercial).

•Responsible for building strong and effective partnerships with counterparts in the Dry/Care & Treats Global Innovation Centres, ensuring strategic alignment of PNE and global programmes, and influencing the global programme to ensure PNE needs are met.

•Responsible for the leadership and development of a team of Dry/Care & Treats process and packaging development and implementation R&D Associates.

· Minimum graduate in a scientific/technical subject, Masters or PhD degree advantageous
· Strong track record of delivery within R&D in a fast-paced business environment
· Significant level of experience in line management and developing high performing teams
