Prime Cost Analyst - Querétaro

Job Purpose / Overview:

This role is temporary for 2 years.

The purpose of this temporary position is to support on the accounting, integrity and data governance of LATAM Prime Costs to the Sr LATAM PRIME Manger. It includes maintaining the accuracy of the financials, COGS accounting operations, period closing, recipe changes valuation, innovation costing analysis, financial planning & analysis reports, and Do It Best. This position has as well, the responsibility to coordinate the Transfer Prices analysis, audit support for any LATAM PRIME requirement, Hedge and Inventory Revaluation (FIFO) analysis, and needs to be a key and valuable support partner to the Commercial and R&D LATAM Team.

Knowledge & Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

·  University Degree/ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
·  Languages: fluent English mandatory

Knowledge/Experience

·  2 to 4 years of Accounting or Financial Planning experience, preferably in a manufacturing/costing environment
·  P&L and COGS accounting knowledge.
·  SAP Desirable
·  Ability to formulate and implement solutions to day to day issues with minimal supervision
·  Good communication and interpersonal skills, customer service focused
·  Stakeholder management

What would be your key responsibilities?

Principal Accountabilities

·  Provide detailed Prime Costs forecasts data for S&OP+ LATAM (Regional and Unit level) to support decision-making and Operating Plan process on a monthly basis, by working closely with the Commercial and R&D functions.
·  Responsible for the full scope of period close submission activities for Prime Costs: Raws, Packaging, Primes non-quality costs, Recipe analysis, Intercompany costs analysis and Inventory revaluation activities. These includes all data governance and interfaces from ERP/SAP to Management Reporting. Also includes Overheads closing analysis for R&D and Commercial areas.
·  LATAM Supply Finance organizational change management: this role will be the key support position to implement ONE LATAM PRIME standardization for Local Step 3 and Business Review, aligning deliveries / time and expectations/trade offs per BU. As wel, pre-close COGS visibility across LATAM.
·  Accurate reporting, analysis and interpretation of the units Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and recipe costs variances. This includes working with the Commercial/R&D groups to explain their results and providing them with the necessary information to make their purchasing and recipe development decisions. Also includes managing any systems/processes required to provide depth explanations of variances, costs allocations and accruals.
·  Control, calculation and submissions of Intercompany Pricing (ICPs): Calculate and load transfer prices on TPP (Transfer Price Portal). Ensure that TPP reflects the correct ICPs for export and internal SKUs and support affiliates partners on new items requests. Audit the ICPs of imported items and change these costs on SAP every quarter. Give the proper Quarter explanations to the LATAM region team behind ICP’s.
