Position Document Summary
Title: DC Trade Marketing Japan
Division: Digital Commerce Division
Location: Tokyo
Reports to: DC Central Sales Manager
1. POSITION SUMMARY
This position is in charge of developing / executing digital ad / promotion strategy and plan to drive premiumization and profitable growth of Mars business at responsible EC key customers.
The position leads strategy, plan and execution for digital ad / promotion by working closely with cross-functional teams in / out of DC division (e.g. Portfolio Mktg). Considering interconnectedness of each EC sites, the position also leads (or co-leads) strategy / plan development and execution across multiple EC key customers. Also, leads acceleration of premiumization and ROI improvement on digital ad / promotion at responsible EC key customers through in-depth POS analysis and test & learn with MD and Data analyst. The position also develops creative materials for each EC key customer leveraging visual materials to be provided by digital MD and Portfolio mktg team.
Under supervision of the CS mgr, the position leads (or co-leads) development of effective way of work in DC division (EC key account mgrs, Digital MD, Data analyst and Shopper & Customer mktg) and the milestone of DC fundamental learning sessions for total DC capability, and actively contributes to team engagement of the division.
2. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
· Lead development of strategy / plan for digital ad / promotion at responsible EC key customers, and execute the plan by working closely with internal cross functional team and the key account manager.
· Lead (or co-lead) strategy / plan development and execution of digital ad / promotion across interconnected EC key customers.
· Lead Premiumization and ROI improvement on digital ad / promotion by in-depth POS analysis and active drive on test & learn.
· Lead (or co-lead) development of effective way of work in DC division while setting key milestones of DC fundamental learning sessions for DC capability and engagement of the division. Also, lead improvement on both as the capability of division grows.
· Leverage learnings available globally / regionally, and share those learnings in the division. Also share back any meaningful learnings to global / regional community.
· Support the CS manager to establish engaging way of work with global digital team.
3 . DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
· Recommend and Agree with LM (DC CS manager) on the strategy / plan for digital ad / promotion at responsible EC key customers, and in case of major change or adjustment for ROI improvement.
· Decide actual execution and non-major change / adjustment on the strategy / plan, Test & Learn plan for Premiumization and ROI improvement through discussion with a key account manager and other cross functional team.
· Recommend and Agree with LM (DC CS manager) on a plan for effective way of work and milestones of DC fundamental learning sessions in DC division. Lead and execute the plan with cross functional team in the division.
· Input ideas to LM (DC CS manager) for engaging way of work with global digital team.
