The Role

Here at Mars Wrigley, we have a vacancy for a Machine Operator to join our wrapping team. Based in Asquith and reporting to the Mints Team Leader, you will be responsible for both Safety and Quality of our manufacturing plant on a day to day basis. This will include; taking excellent care for the health and safety of all associates within the workplace as well as ensuring that shift start up and shut down procedures are correctly implemented.

Day shift hours will be Monday – Thursday 6am-4pm, with a rostered day off, however flexibility to work overtime will be required.

What you’ll do with Mars Wrigley:

Additional key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to);

·  Maintaining personal hygiene standards;
·  Ensuring not only yourself but your fellow associates, contractors and individuals in your area of responsibility, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements;
·  Carrying out daily operations which promotes the highest possible productivity and quality standards;
·  Regular quality inspections to ensure that Wrigley quality is maintained;
·  Following safe work practices and complying with all Mars Wrigley Environmental, Safety & Health policies and procedures at all times;
·  Ensuring that the Mars Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) requirements are enforced within your area of responsibility.
