Key Responsibilities/职位描述

Purpose of Role:

The Assistant Store Director works in partnership with the Store Director to ensure the store’s overall operation and success. The primary focus of this position is to create an exceptional Guest experience through an interactive and engaging “shoppertainment” environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

DRIVE RESULTS / GUEST SERVICE- ACHIEVE OUR GOALS BY BRINGING MORE CHOCOLATE SMILES TO OUR GUESTS

·  Train and develop the Guest Experience Managers to ensure that the store meets and /or exceeds quantifiable performance metric’s (e.g. Net Sales, Conversion, Average Dollar Sale, etc.)
·  Assess, evaluate and coach Guest Experience Managers and Supervisors to drive sales through the engagement and productivity our associates
·  Partners with the Store Director to develop the strategies and plans to achieve sales growth through business analysis, action planning, effective communication and consistent accountability
·  Role models the behaviors of an effective Manager On Duty and manages effective supervision to drive sales by consistently delivering exceptional Guest Service through the Mars selling strategy
·  Adheres to “ Floor Leadership” Manager or Supervisor on each sales floor at all times
·  Manages the Character Performers & Buddies-delivering engaging and memorable experiences
·  Display a 'Guest comes first' attitude by training and holding associates accountable for delivering legendary Guest service.

TALENT MANAGEMENT- DELIVER AN EXPECTIONAL RETAIL EXPERIENCE BY DELIGHTING OUR GUESTS THROUGH OUR FUN, KNOWLEDGE AND PASSION FOR OUR BRAND

·  Responsible for the effective recruitment, selection and on-boarding of exceptional associates who are excited to work in a fast paced Guest centric environment
·  Ensures store achieves optimal staffing levels by filling positions in a timely manner for job openings with associates that are committed to delighting our Guests by delivering exceptional service
·  Identifies, develops and leverages existing talent to support the growth of the store through the Talent Management System and associate performance appraisal processes
·  Rewards and recognizes behaviors / results that are in alignment with Mars purpose and values to promote a high-performing team
·  In partnership with the Store Director drive the company’s performance management process and partner with P&O on associate relations issues to ensure practices are fair and consistent
·  Manages the delivery of associate communication and materials-Champion the Fun Committee
·  Coordinates the Q12 process and impact sessions. Create and execute action plans defined from the survey results

·  Demonstrates knowledge of products, placement Onstage, sales impact according to the space occupied and general understanding of category components

·  Supervises visual team to include in-store visual associate and visual support
·  In partnership with Store Director and corporate team ensure proper and effective training and development is provided to associates to achieve an exceptionally visually appealing store that is Big, Bold and clearly Branded

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE- ENSURING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES WHILE DELIVERING AN EXCITING RETAIL EXPERIENCE

·  Through training and development ensures all areas of the store including Onstage and Backstage are neat clean, organized, operational and safe
·  Complies with and ensures that all associates follow company policies and procedures
·  In partnership with Store Director ensure that store is in compliance with all employment State and Federal laws, including but not limited to wage and hour and Equal Employment Opportunity
·  Ensure that the store protects company assets thorough awareness of Loss Prevention best practices, including great guest service, associate bag checks, associate purchases, as well as all other compliance to company policies and procedures
