Accounts Receivable Officer - Royal Canin

Here at Royal Canin, we have a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer to join the Royal Canin Finance team based in Melbourne on a 6-month contract (with possibility of a view to permanency).

Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the reconciliation of customer accounts, applying customer discounts where applicable, providing credit limit review, following up on overdue accounts, as well as performing other related accounts receivable functions.

What would be your key responsibilities?
• Reconciliation of Key Accounts and other customers and sending weekly and monthly statements
• Follow up on and allocate payments
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Investigate and resolve customer account enquiries, communicate resolution
• Credit Limit Review and initiate and apply approved credit limit changes in line with internal policies

What are we looking for?
• Previous accounting experience preferably in an Accounts Receivable role
• Passionate about accounting/finance with a high attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent ability to establish great working relationships in a collaborative manner
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
