Within the new Al Habtoor City are three ultra-luxurious hotels: Dubai's first-ever St. Regis, a flagship W Hotel and a new Westin, offering more than 1,600 elegant rooms between them.

JOB SUMMARY

The position is for a dynamic and creative marketer who is able to drive the integrated marketing strategies designed to position the hotel in the country for domestic and international visitors.

The position requires experiences in all aspects of F&B marketing mix with a high end brand in the highly competitive market of Dubai. It requires sound understanding of Restaurant & Bar operational knowledge and collaboration with the operational team.

JOB FUNCTIONS

·  In conjunction with the Complex DOM and the individual F&B HOD's, take responsibility for the development and delivery of the annual F&B Marketing plans and Marketing budgets in line with the hotel strategic priorities and revenue target by market segments.
·  Be responsible for the planning and execution of content creation as well as the briefing to creative agencies (including copy writing, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioning.
·  Drive the positioning and activation of the restaurants & bars on the local market. Work with internal and external resources to define clear positioning for each outlet that resonates under the overall hotel positioning. Develop & implement local marketing activities (including event strategy) aiming to engage with locals and increase capture ratio from in-house guests.
·  Act as a Brand Champion with the hotel teams. Together with the General Manager, support brand activation and ensure the brand experience comes alive through the hotel messaging and guest experience.
·  Collaborates with the Digital Field Marketing Team to deliver multi-lingual tactical marketing campaigns in all segments.
·  Pro-actively identify relevant marketing partners for the hotel and manage these relationships profitably to raise hotel awareness, drive demand, deepen loyalty and enrich brand experience.
·  Drive loyalty Marketing: Focus on increasing engagement with Loyalty Members living in GCC through the organization of events, and enhancing guest experience with Elite Members on property.
·  Ensure full compliance with all Marriott International standards & programs.
·  Champion and manage the Social Media strategy in line with the brand positioning and hotels' stories. Specific focus on online reputation management and guest engagement.
·  Assist with all local promotional activities that support the needs of the hotel and restaurants/bars. This could include photo shoots, broadcasts, celebrity interviews and other specific events that require personal attention. Also forge local partnerships and review opportunities for local level promotions and sponsorships to gain recognition and beneficial status within the community.
·  Together with the Complex DOM translates divisional and global initiatives into the local environment and ensures participation and compliance.
·  Collaborates with the Dir.of Finance to ensure compliance with the budgeted marketing expense. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

In addition to the essential functions above, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel:

·  Professionally represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
·  Provide constructive feedback to all departments, specifically in relation to the repositioning of the Restaurants/Bars and Brand Activation efforts across all departments.
·  Be a role model to all associates.
·  Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job:

·  Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English, and preferably Arabic

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education

·  Marketing degree required

Experience

·  Minimum 2 years of marketing experience
