POSITION SUMMARY
The position has the overall responsibility of supporting the Development Discipline marketing and communication activities as well as the responsibility of providing administration support inclusive of developing presentations and managing communication between internal and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Education or Certification
·  BA Degree in marketingrelated function or equivalent higher education experience
·  1 - 2 yearsprogressive work experience in a development and/ or marketing relatedrole
·  Desire to develop a career in marketing relatedrole

SKILLS AND kNOWLEDGE
• Demonstrates project management skills
• Demonstrates strong organisational skills
• Demonstrates effective stakeholder management including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
• Demonstrates an understanding of marketing and advertising industry with good understanding of creative development
• Keeps up-to-date on available resources that can help to better serve departmental needs and to improve organisational performance.
• Expresses oneself clearly, concisely and effectively in one-on-one and group settings, both written and verbally.
• Experienced in delivering clear, evenly paced presentations.
• Acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge
• Ability to use standard software applications such as MSOffice and PowerPoint
• Works effectively within a team-based environment
• Works effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in English Language.

Core Work Activities

• Responsible for the development of all types of communication and marketing activities for the discipline
• Responsible for internal and external stakeholders communication and coordination with regards to marketing activities and programs
• Work closely with the Continent Brand Marketing team and adhere to all brand voice guidelines.
• Responsible of developing the department marketing needs and determine the resources and tools required to fulfill such needs on timely fashion.
• Responsible for managing the department marketing fund and ensure accurate account of expenses and projects.
• Responsible for the relationship with the creative and production agency.
• Responsible for developing presentations for the Development team with the ability to source out images and templates to project the best in class content.
