Job Summary

We are looking for motivated individuals with a pleasant personality to serve our guests in our food and beverage outlets and banquets. In addition to setting tables, greeting and seating guests, and serving food and beverage courses to guests, the Lead Server will be a an experienced server who serves as a leader and point person for coworkers on MICROS point of sale systems, customer service recovery, and an expert on menu selections. Other duties include communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions, allergies, dietary needs, special requests, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Lead Servers will also complete closing duties including storage, restocking, breakdown, cleaning all equipment and areas, completing daily cleaning checklist.

The ideal candidate has knowledge about different types of coffee beverages and Latte Art skills are preferred. The successful applicant must have knowledge of service standards and general food and beverage knowledge with at least two (2) years of experience in a high volume hotel, resort or restaurant setting. Must be very skilled in Point-of-Sale systems such as MICROS. Experience in room service, banquets, events and/or bar advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Applicants are required to work shifts including mornings and evenings, including weekends and public holidays.
