Qualifications :


We are looking for motivated individuals with a pleasant personality to serve our guests in our food and beverage outlet, bars and banquets. In addition to setting tables, greeting and seating guests, and serving food and beverage courses to guests, the Lead Food and Beverage Employee will be a an experienced server who serves as a leader and point person for coworkers on MICROS point of sale systems, customer service recovery, and an expert on food and drink menu selections. Other duties include communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions, allergies, dietary needs, special requests, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Transport supplies to service area. Record transactions in MICROS system at time of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Will also complete closing duties including storage, restocking, breakdown, cleaning all equipment and areas, completing daily cleaning checklist. The ideal candidate has knowledge about different types of coffee beverages and Latte Art skills are preferred. The successful applicant must have knowledge of service standards and general food and beverage knowledge with at least 3-5 years of experience in a high volume hotel, resort or restaurant setting. Must be skilled in Point-of-Sale systems such as MICROS. . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Applicants are required to work shifts including mornings and evenings, including weekends and public holidays.

What you'll be doing

·  Welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
·  Serve food and beverages to guests making recommendations if needed
·  Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
·  Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely
·  Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
·  Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies

What we're looking for

·  Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
·  Positive outlook and outgoing personality
·  Previous serving experience is a big plus

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we'll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
