Job Summary

The BT/Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for the successful achievement of the budgeted transient room revenues for the hotel, through the growth and acquisition of key corporate accounts, local negotiated accounts, corporate travel channels and luxury consortia. Maintaining relationships with current accounts while soliciting new accounts is key to this role. Travels outside of the office to meet with customers and prospective customers to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections and close deals is necessary. Expectation is to consistently meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, and participate in tradeshows and industry and community events to promote facilities and services.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role in hotel sales with a major hotel brand. Experience in the luxury and/or upper upscale segment is strongly preferred.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a related field of study.
