Department:

Allegro is the Hotel's signature restaurant serving contemporary Australian cuisine. It is open daily for breakfast and dinner.

Job Description:

·  Highly active front of house position involving table service, coffee making, serving meals and beverages, upselling and good product knowledge.
·  Complete assigned duties within the given timeframe and assist to ensure the smooth running of each shift.
·  To deliver personal and instinctive guest experiences every day.
·  Uphold Westin standards and the hotel's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

·  12 months food and beverage experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel restaurant or highly regarded restaurant preferred.
·  Valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Safety and Hygiene certificates.
·  Excellent knowledge of sequence of service and basic wine knowledge.
·  Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
·  Excellent communication, organizational and service recovery skills.
·  Must have the flexibility to work on 7 day rotating roster including public holidays and weekends.
