Job Summary

The Westin Seattle is looking for a Banquet Server who welcomes guests in an energizing, delightful, and uplifting manner. The Banquet Server will serve all food and beverage requests, ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform side duties, maintain proper cleanliness of dining areas and serving equipment.

This is a "casual" position where associates will have to call in for shifts.

An exceptional candidate will have an energizing yet relaxing personality and:

-Must speak, read, write and understand the primary languages in the workplace

-Have good communication skills

-Basic computer skills

-Be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to four hours in length

-Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Must be able to push carts up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis

- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.

-Have finger dexterity to operate equipment

-High school or equivalent education

-Must have two years of serving experience in a banquet environment

-Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance per The Westin Seattle standards

-Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

-must have to be willing to receive a Washington State Food Handler's Card
