Qualifications :

Essential Functions

This position has responsibility to:

· 
Ensure that all guest billings are prepared and mailed correctly and efficiently

· 
To follow up on subsequent billings and effect collection of past due accounts

· 
To prepare the City Ledger, Group and Events billing

· 
To follow up on a daily basis with Front Office, Resort Sales, Events and Banqueting on all billing issues such as PM's, Deposits, Back-up documentation, postings, wine pre-orders, rebates & adjustments

· 
To ensure that guest charges are filed properly and easy to trace back.

· 
Effectively deal with Guest queries by phone and email and in a timely manner.

· 
To reconcile credit card transactions daily and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

We are looking for a confident individual who is capable to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and has a strong desire to improve on their skills and knowledge as well as:

Numerate and Accurate

· 
Capability of prioritising their workload to meet deadlines, focused on solving customer issues

· 
Ability to handle stress and cope with the pressures of the job as and when they occur

· 
Ability to deal with and adapt to unexpected situations: complaints, change

· 
Good listening skills for use with internal and external customers alike

· 
Computer literate with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe

· 
Experience with Micros-Fidelio Opera PMS –either Front Office or/and Sales & Catering modules

· 
A previous experience in Accounts Receivable is a plus

· 
Strong communication skills (letters, faxes, e-mails, telephone calls and meetings with others)

· 
Experience with PeopleSoft or any other accounting system is an advantage

Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
