Our M&S Colleague Services Team are looking for motivated, adaptable and inquisitive people to join our Colleague Services Support Centre in Salford Quays, where you will deliver a top-notch service, supporting our colleagues throughout the entire business during one of our busiest and exciting times of the year.

As you can imagine, Christmas is one of the biggest events in our calendar! And our preparation for the business and our colleagues, to ensure a seamless delivery, begins now.

What we are ideally looking for, is someone who will enjoy understanding the needs of our colleagues and take pride in tailoring a response personal to them.

You will learn a breadth of knowledge in this role, which will give you real insight into a busy HR support Team. We have also recently been listed in ‘LinkedIn Top 20 Places to Work’ and the ‘Times Top 50 Workplaces for Women’.

What you will be doing:

·  Supporting colleague questions and queries regarding recruitment, payroll, contracts & references, system support, holidays, company bonus & benefits, and pensions. You will be answering their calls, responding to their emails and engaging on live chat
·  You will be targeted on daily productivity (number of calls answered) but with a focus on call quality measures
·  Our Contact Centre is open to support Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm. A full-time contract will see you working 37.5 hours a week and covering a rotating shift pattern (8am – 4pm, 9am – 5pm and 10am – 6pm). There will be a requirement for you to work some bank holidays but these will be shared evenly with the rest of your team.
·  A full and comprehensive training plan will be provided for you to ensure you are set up for success before going live in the business!

Your skills and experience will include:

·  Experience working in a customer focussed environment
·  Strong listening skills; able to respond to the needs of customers with effective questioning
·  Open minded and always looking for new ways to improve
·  Able to communicate in a clear and simple way, both spoken and written
·  Digitally focussed and can use of Microsoft applications with ease
·  Confident working in an environment that can move very quickly
·  Ambitious and keen to develop a long-term career
·  Driven to do the right thing for our customers
·  Enjoys a one Team approach
