Job description :
- The candidate selected will assist the Managing Counsel – Asia Pacific Region in all aspects of in-house legal practice including the negotiation and preparation of contracts ranging from small (e.g. non-disclosure agreements) to large (e.g. joint venture contracts and intellectual property licensing agreements);
- Handling corporate governance matters for wholly-owned subsidiaries and joint venture companies including tracking compliance and review and preparation of resolutions, meeting minutes, etc.;
- Review and interpretation of legal contracts;
- Assistance with M&A and joint venture transaction;
- Providing timely and strategic advice to internal clients;
- Legal research on Asian law (China and SE Asia) topics;
- Coordinating with outside counsel and document management/filing.
