An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Planner to work in a global FMCG environment with some of the World`s best loved chocolate and confectionery.

Due to rapid growth within the market, the team are now looking to extend to accommodate and continue this success.

The primary objective on the role holder is to take a medium term forecast from the key account manager and create a production forecast for the co manufacturers and to place orders for finished goods. In addition to ensuring that the products are manufactured according to customer needs, it is also important that the role holder can manage the logistics providers by ensuring that the products are available on time and in full according to the distributors orders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Supply Chain manager/ Key Account Manager to create a forecast and production plan to be used to procure raw materials and packaging.

- Manage the SAP transactions for all stock movements, raising purchase orders, goods receipting orders, raising invoices and credits and managing stock movements.

- Tracking and reporting service levels from all co manufacturers to identify any improvements and an action plan put in place.

- Communicating with Co Manufacturers to inform them of any changes to production schedules or changes in demand.

- Arranging transport for finished goods delivery.

- Problem solving to ensure that demand is met or issues escalated, including short notice changes.

- Ensure all financial transactions and accruals are made in a timely manner following the period end process.

- Supply the co manufacturers with a rolling 12 week demand forecast.

- In put demand into Apollo to ensure visibility to the Core business Planners.

- Active contribution to the weekly project Meetings relevant to your category.

Job Specifications;

- Recognised interpersonal and savvy communication skills.

- Strong Customer focus and stakeholder management.

- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills.

- Experience of SAP desirable.

- Solid critical thinking skills and a proven ability to demonstrate continuous improvement.

- A drive to make things happen and problem solving.

- Experience in FMCG - ideally food based.
