Forklift Driver (Full Time, Afternoon and Night Shift Available)

£9.30 up to £13.50 per hour (pro rata) - Part time hours are between 10 - 30 hours. Full time hours are between 31 - 40 hours.

Our brand new Distribution Centre in Peterborough will be opening in August 2020! (start dates available from April 2020 due to training period) We are recruiting our team before opening and your training will be based in our current Distribution Centre based in Lutterworth.

Your training period will be on a shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off and thereafter your shift pattern will be 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis). We will be providing a shared travel service during your training period.

What you'll do

·  Safely operate a reach truck fork-lift in our warehouse
·  Pick a variety of products including meat, wine, fruit, frozen and chilled items
·  Listen carefully to picking instructions through your headset and carry them out at pace
·  Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
·  Report any damaged items to your manager
·  Take responsibility for working through your orders independently
·  Help out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stock

What you'll need

·  Accredited license of RTITB or ITSSAR
·  Experience of operating a reach truck fork-lift in a warehouse environment
·  Some experience of working in a fast-paced, target driven environment
·  Willingness to work with all different types of stock, in temperature-controlled areas
·  Good attention to detail when working quickly
·  Self-motivation to work hard and do everything to the best of your ability
